About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Backup Engineer L2 – Veeam Backup to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise backup and disaster recovery environments. The role involves administering Veeam Backup & Replication, backup and replication operations, recovery environments, cloud and object storage, tape infrastructure, and disaster recovery solutions while ensuring data protection, high availability, and business continuity.

Experience:



3–5 Years of relevant experience in Backup Administration

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (General Shift)

2nd and 4th Saturday: Remote Support

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily backup, replication, and restore operations and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex backup and replication issues escalated from L1 support.

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.

Perform Instant VM Recovery, File-Level Restore, Application-Aware Restore, and granular recovery operations.

Configure and manage Backup Jobs, Backup Copy Jobs, Replication Jobs, SureBackup, and SureReplica.

Configure and manage Scale-Out Backup Repository (SOBR), Hardened Linux Repository, and Object Storage integration.

Perform plugin-based backup and restore operations for enterprise applications and databases.
