Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to join our team at Policybazaar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting customers, understanding their insurance requirements, and helping them choose suitable insurance solutions. This role involves field engagement, customer interaction, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through tele calling, field visits, referrals, and lead follow-ups.
- Meet potential customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable policies.
- Explain product features, benefits, coverage details, and policy terms to customers.
- Build and maintain robust customer relationships to drive sales and referrals.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to policy conversion.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth policy issuance and customer support.
- Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Senior secondary/ Graduate degree preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in field sales, insurance sales, banking sales, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet customers independently and work in a target-driven environment.
- Good negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Basic knowledge of insurance products is an advantage.
