Dockendale Ship Management is growing its procurement team and we're looking for a Senior Buyer to join us in Mumbai.

This role sits at the core of our fleet supply chain — ensuring safe, cost-efficient, and timely delivery of everything our vessels need to keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll do:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing for the fleet

• Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries against vessel ETAs

• Coordinate daily with vessels, agents, and local ship chandlers to resolve supply issues

• Negotiate with suppliers and ensure adherence to frame agreement prices

• Process invoices accurately and on time

• Share best practices and drive continuous improvement across the procurement team

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the maritime industry

• Solid analytical and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
