Role Description
The Sr Lawyer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Sr Lawyer will handle complex legal matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, and legal opinions, and representing clients in courts, tribunals, and other legal forums. Daily responsibilities include advising clients on legal strategy, managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing case notes and documentation. The Sr Lawyer will mentor junior team members, coordinate with external stakeholders such as opposing counsel and authorities,



and help develop internal best practices and compliance standards. The role requires consistent on-site collaboration with colleagues and participation in client meetings and hearings.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in litigation, dispute resolution, and advisory work, with the ability to manage complex cases independently.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, petitions, affidavits, and opinions.
- Advanced legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills, with a professional and respectful approach to all stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a cooperative and learning-focused environment.
