Job Summary

The TGT Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, competency-based Mathematics instruction to students of Grades VI to X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The role focuses on developing conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students of Grades VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual planners, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Deliver interactive and student-centric lessons using experiential and competency-based teaching methodologies.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding in Number Systems, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics, Probability, Coordinate Geometry, and Linear Equations.
- Integrate technology, smart boards, and digital learning resources into classroom teaching.
- Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and mathematical application in real-life situations.




- Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs.

Student Assessment & Progress
- Conduct formative and summative assessments in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- Evaluate assignments, projects, notebooks, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial coaching.
- Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, and other mathematics competitions.

Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and respect among students.
- Encourage team-oriented learning, inquiry-based discussions, and active participation.

Parent & Student Engagement
- Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress effectively.
