Role Description

The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) is a full-time,
on-site role based in Abroad
, responsible for leading the organization’s overall investment strategy and portfolio performance. This role oversees the design and implementation of investment policies aligned with the company’s financial goals and risk appetite. The CIO will analyze market trends, evaluate investment opportunities, and manage diversified portfolios to support sustainable growth. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring portfolio performance, preparing investment reports for senior leadership, coordinating with finance and executive teams on capital allocation, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The CIO will also guide investment risk management, develop long-term financial plans, and mentor team members involved in investment analysis and finance operations.

Qualifications
- Solid investment strategy and investment management skills, with the ability to design and execute long-term investment plans.
- Solid foundation in finance and investments,



including financial analysis, risk assessment, and capital allocation.
- Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, optimizing asset mix and performance in line with organizational objectives.
- Prior leadership experience in a senior investment or finance role, ideally within consulting, financial services, or a related sector.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and use of investment tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA) are an advantage.
- Proven track record of ethical decision-making, sound judgment, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
