Job / Role:

The Area Manager ISBL Pretreatment Unit is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities within the Inside Battery Limits (ISBL) Pretreatment Unit. The role ensures protected, timely, and high-quality execution of civil, structural, mechanical, piping, equipment erection, electrical, and instrumentation works in accordance with project specifications, engineering standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all construction activities within the ISBL Pretreatment Unit from mobilization through mechanical completion.
- Lead multidisciplinary construction teams including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation personnel.
- Ensure construction is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Commissioning, and Client representatives to resolve technical and execution issues.




- Develop and implement detailed work plans to achieve project milestones and productivity targets.
- Monitor daily construction progress and identify corrective actions to mitigate schedule delays.
- Supervise erection of static and rotating equipment, pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, tanks, piping systems, structural steel, and associated utilities within the Pretreatment Unit.
- Ensure effective interface management with adjacent process units, utilities, and offsite facilities.
- Review method statements, work packs, lifting plans, and risk assessments prior to execution.
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, hot work, and lifting operations.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, manpower utilization, and resource deployment.
- Coordinate inspection activities with QA/QC and ensure timely closure of punch points and non-conformities.
