Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, transaction processing, reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, management accounts, and financial reports in compliance with UK/US GAAP and IFRS.
- Support year-end close, financial consolidation, due diligence, and other ad-hoc finance projects.
- Manage client finance inboxes, resolve accounting queries, and deliver exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
- Review work, mentor junior team members, and support knowledge sharing (Associate level).
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or Semi-qualified CA/ACCA.
- 04 years of experience in UK/US Accounting.
- Hands-on experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close, management accounts, and UK/US GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Passion for learning, ownership, and using technology to improve accounting processes.
