Position : Estimation Engineer

Qualification : B.E /BTech / Diploma Mechanical Engg

Exp : 2+ years exp in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical / Fertilizer / Process / Rolling Stock / Railway /Locomotive (Freshers Welcome)

Base Location : Andheri East - Mumbai

Job Responsibilities :

To handle techno-commercial estimation, tendering, execution, and operational activities of Mechanical from Head Office coordination to site implementation and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estimation & Tendering
- Study tender documents, drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimation for Mechanical works.
- Quantity take-off from drawings.
- Preparation of BOQ with rate analysis.
- Vendor quotation comparison and technical evaluation.
- Preparation of techno-commercial proposals.

2. Costing & Budgeting
- Material cost calculation.
- Labour cost estimation.
- Preparation of project cost sheets and margin analysis.
- Risk analysis and contingency planning

Project Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Mechanical works at site.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Material planning and site coordination.
- Monitor project schedule and ensure timely completion.
- Handle client inspections and site meetings.
- Preparation of measurement sheets and billing support.
- Manage subcontractors and site workforce

4. Operation & Maintenance
- Handle basic plant Mechanical operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of installed systems.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

Coordination for commissioning, handover, and operational documentation.

5. Documentation
- Preparation of Excel-based estimation sheets.
- Preparation of bid submission documents.
- Maintaining project and operational documentation and reports.
