MEP Mechanical Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities

Prepare HVAC layout drawings (ducting, chilled water piping, equipment layouts). Prepare firefighting layouts (hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, pump rooms).

Prepare plumbing and drainage layouts (water supply, soil, waste, rainwater, vent piping).

Prepare mechanical equipment room layouts and sections. Develop coordinated MEP drawings with architectural and structural drawings.

Produce shop drawings, GA drawings, and detailed installation drawings. Prepare schematic diagrams and isometric drawings where required.

Update drawings based on engineer comments and client revisions. Ensure compliance with relevant IS codes, NBC, and project standards.

Maintain drawing registers and revision history. Support quantity take-offs from drawings when required.

Software Skills

AutoCAD (essential)

Revit MEP (preferred)

Basic Microsoft Excel and Word

Qualification : ITI/Diploma in Draftsmanship, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Freshers or 1-2 years of experience in MEP drafting (or as required).

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
