Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Engineer to ensure that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. The candidate should have experience in precision engineering, inspection techniques, and quality documentation.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured components.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
* Conduct dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
* Prepare inspection reports, test reports, and quality documentation.
* Handle non-conforming products and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Ensure compliance with ISO quality management systems and customer quality requirements.
* Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Design teams to resolve quality-related issues.
* Support customer inspections, internal audits, and third-party inspections.
* Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
**Required Skills**
* Knowledge of quality control procedures in manufacturing.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
* Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
* Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems.
* Knowledge of root cause analysis and CAPA.
* Positive communication and documentation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
**Qualification**
* Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
* Certification in Quality Management will be an added advantage.
