Job Description: Team Lead - Investment Banking Brokerage Operations

Role Overview
The Team Lead Brokerage Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the Investment Banking Brokerage domain in a rapid-paced BPO/BPM environment. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in brokerage processes (trade life cycle, settlements, clearing, corporate actions, or reconciliation) and exceptional people management skills. You will drive operational excellence, ensure strict compliance with international financial regulations, and lead a team of specialists to meet and exceed client
Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management & SLA Delivery
Manage end-to-end execution of daily brokerage operations (e.g., Trade Processing,
Clearing & Settlement, Corporate Actions, Margin Management, or Brokerage Reconciliations).
Monitor daily workflows to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and within
designated market cut-off times.
Track, analyze,



and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to internal management and onshore clients.
Act as the first point of escalation for complex operational issues, trade discrepancies, or breaks, ensuring swift resolution.

2. Team Leadership & People Development
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 10-15 brokerage associates and senior analysts.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and design Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Identify training gaps and coordinate cross-training initiatives to ensure resource optimization and robust backup planning.
Manage team scheduling, attendance, and resource allocation to handle volume volatility.

3. Risk, Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure absolute compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, MiFID II, or local market regulators) and internal corporate audits.
