Responsibilities
- The Application Support professional will:
- - Provide day-to-day support for banking product applications and related systems
- - Monitor application availability, performance, batch jobs, interfaces, and transaction processing
- - Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, defects, and user-reported issues
- - Perform root cause analysis for recurring production issues and recommend preventive actions
- - Work closely with business users, product teams, developers, QA, infrastructure, and vendors to resolve issues
- - Handle production support activities including incident management, problem management, service requests, and change support
- - Validate application fixes, patches, and releases before and after deployment
- - Support system upgrades, release rollouts,



and maintenance activities
- - Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, SOPs, and issue logs
- - Escalate critical incidents within agreed SLAs and ensure timely communication to stakeholders
- - Participate in UAT, post-release validation, and production health checks
- - Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, security standards, and banking regulations
Requirements
- - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- - Understanding of application support, production support, or banking systems support
- - Familiarity with SQL for data validation, issue analysis, and reporting
- - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a production setting
