Job Summary

Shanti Group is looking for an experienced Head – Solar Plant Operation (O&M;) to lead the Operations & Maintenance of its utility-scale Solar Power Plant. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum plant availability, optimizing power generation, leading maintenance activities, improving plant performance, and managing the O&M; team while ensuring compliance with all safety and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operation and maintenance of the Solar Power Plant to ensure maximum generation and equipment availability.
- Manage daily plant operations, including start-up, shutdown, and monitoring of inverters, transformers, HT/LT systems, and associated electrical equipment.
- Monitor plant performance through SCADA, including PR, CUF,



generation data, weather monitoring systems, and equipment health.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of Solar PV modules, DC Combiner Boxes, Inverters, Transformers, AC/DC Panels, HT/LT Switchgear, and auxiliary systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults related to inverters, strings, panels, transformers, cables, breakers, and protection systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company HSE policies.
- Maintain operational records, maintenance history, fault reports, and generation reports.
- Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, DISCOM/Grid authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the O&M; team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
