Role Description

The Vice President – Human Capital is a full-time,
on-site leadership role based in Abroad
, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end human resources function for Esse India. This role develops and implements HR strategies that support business goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning. The Vice President – Human Capital will design and update HR policies, manage employee relations and engagement initiatives, and ensure competitive and compliant employee benefits programs. The role includes overseeing HRIS implementation and data integrity, monitoring HR metrics, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements. The position also collaborates with senior leadership to build a positive, inclusive work culture, coach managers on people management, and support change management across the organization.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) expertise, including strategic HR planning and hands-on operational management.




- Candidates should possess skills in designing, implementing, and updating HR Policies that align with legal requirements and organizational objectives.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Employee Relations and Employee Benefits management to foster engagement and support a positive work environment.
- Candidates should possess experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including system administration, data accuracy, and HR analytics.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role (preferably at Head of HR or VP level) within professional services or consulting environments.
- Solid knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance standards, and best practices in talent management and organizational development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders.
