Position Details

Position Title: Automation Engineer – PLC Programming

Department: Automation

Reporting To: Automation Manager / Engineering Head

Role Description

Purpose of the Role:

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and electrical control systems for current automation projects. The role involves programming, control panel design, electrical schematics, robotics integration,



and continuous process automation to improve manufacturing productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain PLC programs for automation projects.

· Design and implement PLC-based control circuits.

· Develop HMI applications, including analog and digital screen design.

· Develop PLC programs for analog and servo-based applications.

· Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for automation projects.

· Design electrical drawings using E-CAD software.

· Coordinate with suppliers for project execution and component requirements.

· Improve manufacturing productivity through automation initiatives.

· Troubleshoot PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Delta, and similar platforms).

· Develop and integrate Cobot/Robot programming.

· Validate PLC logic and optimize ladder logic for standardization.

· Conduct PLC and automation training for engineers and technicians.

· Support commissioning, testing, and debugging of automation sys
