Role Description
The Document Controller is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru at Ballestra Engineering and Projects Limited (BEPL). This role is responsible for organising, maintaining, and controlling project and technical documentation, ensuring that all records are accurate, up to date, and accessible to project teams and stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include managing document registers, tracking revisions, handling document approvals, and distributing controlled documents in accordance with company procedures and project requirements. The Document Controller coordinates with engineering, procurement, and site teams to collect, verify, and archive documentation, while maintaining compliance with internal standards and client guidelines. The role also involves preparing reports on document status, supporting audits, enforcing document control policies, and contributing to continuous improvement in documentation processes.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Document Management and Records Management, with experience using electronic document control systems or databases.




- Experience with Documentation and Project Documentation, including preparing, organizing, and tracking technical and project-related documents.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear, structured information.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple document streams and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and common business productivity tools; familiarity with engineering or project management environments is an advantage.
- Prior experience in document control, records administration, or a similar role within engineering, construction, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in administration, engineering, information management, or a related field is beneficial.
