Role Description
The Duty Manager role is a full-time,



on-site position based at our O by Tamara property in Coimbatore. The Duty Manager oversees daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth functioning across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services. Responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring service standards, resolving guest queries and complaints, and coordinating with different departments to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, reviewing occupancy and revenue reports, handling escalations, and ensuring adherence to safety, security, and brand guidelines. The Duty Manager also supports training and mentoring of team members, encourages a culture of service excellence, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Tamara’s sustainability and people-centric values.
