- Lead end-to-end composites airframe design, drive wing-body integration, control surfaces, avionics, payloads and propulsion integration with Structures
- Oversee structural design for high agile loads, thermal stresses, shock and vibration
- Ensure compliance with fatigue, durability, and damage tolerance requirements
- Guide aerodynamic shaping for low drag, shock management, and stability at high Mach numbers
- Supervise CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
- Drive flight tests and validate CFD and flight test data to refine designs
- Select advanced composites, high-temperature alloys, and lightweight structures for high-speed drones
- Ensure manufacturability with CAD/CAM integration and advanced fabrication methods
- Collaborate with production teams for prototype and scale-up readiness
- Manage cross-functional teams (structures, aero, avionics, propulsion)
- Collaborate with Project team to drive program timelines, budgets,
and technical risk mitigation
- Mentor engineers and oversee design reviews (PDR/CDR) and document preparation
- Ensure compliance with Military Airworthiness regulations
- Ensure UAV Design aligned with AS9100D, MIL-STD 810 requirements
- Support internal and External QA audits

- Experience in high-speed aerodynamics design with reduced drag and improved mission endurance
- Enhanced structural reliability, stability & control and safety for unmanned systems
- Capable of arriving at faster design-to-prototype cycles
- Driven Innovations in unmanned systems/ drones
- Design of Launch and Recovery system for UAVs
- Experience in Lightweight Composites Structures design
- Experience in defence and aerospace certification standards
