We are seeking a dedicated and result-oriented Academic Mentor for our Dayscholar batch in Thrissur. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding, tracking, and mentoring students who commute daily, ensuring they maintain a perfect balance between their Board exams and competitive edge (NEET/JEE). You will drive academic discipline, bridge the gap between classroom teaching and self-study, and maintain close coordination with parents to ensure consistent student progress.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Monitoring & Evaluation
- Performance Tracking: Regularly evaluate student performance across Daily Practice Problems (DPPs), Chapter-Wise Exams (CWEs), and Mock Tests for NEET, JEE, and Board syllabi.
- Trend Analysis: Use data and performance logs to identify student grade trends (improvement, decline, or stagnation).
- Strategy Alignment: Analyze performance discrepancies (e.g., robust in Boards but struggling in NEET/JEE, or vice versa) and design personalized corrective strategies.
- Targeted Interventions: Plan and execute weekly intervention sessions for dayscholars struggling with specific topics, ensuring measurable growth through focused daily practice.
- Dual Evaluation: Adjust DPP evaluation patterns to ensure mastery in both descriptive depth (for Boards) and MCQ precision (for NEET/JEE).
2. Academic Planning & Content Delivery
- Timetable Integration: Align daily mentoring schedules with the school-specific timetable provided by the Academic Coordinators.
- Milestone Execution: Deliver support in sync with the yearly academic plan, balancing theory-oriented Board topics with application-based competitive exam preparation.
- Concept & Application Focus: Ensure students grasp theoretical concepts for Board exams while mastering speed and MCQ elimination techniques for NEET & JEE.
