Role: Azure DevOps Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Developer to join our team on a 6-month remote contract engagement. Working primarily within EST/CST business hours, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. This is a hands-on technical role requiring solid collaboration with development and operations teams to drive automation, improve deployment processes, and ensure the reliability and scalability of cloud-hosted solutions

Key Responsibilities

● Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards,

Artifacts).

● Manage and provision cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code

(IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates.

● Implement and optimise containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).





● Monitor application and infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and

Application Insights.

● Automate build, test, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and improve

release frequency.

● Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices across the software

development lifecycle.

● Manage branching strategies, version control, and code review processes within Azure

Repos or GitHub.

● Ensure security and compliance within pipelines, including secrets management using Azure

Key Vault.

● Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure incidents.

● Produce technical documentation for DevOps processes, runbooks, and architecture

decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

● 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services and the Microsoft Azure

platform.

● Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure D
