About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Store Keeper cum Bookkeeper to manage stock records and day-to-day books for our apple procurement and CA cold-storage operation. The role sits at the point where physical goods movement meets the accounting books — recording every arrival, tracking chamber-wise stock, and keeping accurate, up-to-date records of receipts, issues, and payments.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is meticulous with numbers and paperwork, comfortable on the storage/packing floor, and able to maintain clean books in parallel.



The role involves travel to and presence at the field/storage site during the procurement and harvest season.

Key Responsibilities

Arrival & inward records
- Record all incoming consignments — crates received from Kashmir growers/mandis — with quantity, weight, variety (KD / Delicious), grade, and supplier-wise details.
- Verify deliveries against procurement documents and raise Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Maintain gate-inward registers and reconcile arrivals against agreed quantities.

Stock & store keeping
- Maintain accurate chamber-wise / location-wise inventory of stored fruit.
- Record all issues and dispatches, and keep running stock balances.
- Track and record wastage, sorting losses, and grade-wise movement.
- Manage store of packaging materials, crates, labels, and consumables; raise indents when stock runs low.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile against book stock.
