Role Description
The GIS QC Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role is responsible for performing quality checks on GIS datasets, maps, and spatial databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards. Day-to-day tasks include validating data from various GIS applications, identifying and documenting errors or gaps,



and coordinating with data production and engineering teams to resolve issues. The GIS QC Engineer will design and run test cases, maintain QC documentation, and support continuous improvement of data workflows and mapping processes. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional healthcare and technical teams to support data-driven decision-making and reliable location-based insights.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS Applications, with the ability to apply these tools in quality control workflows.
- Experience working with Maps and spatial data, including reviewing map outputs for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Databases, including managing, querying, and validating spatial and non-spatial data in relational database environments.
