Job Title : Cloud Migration Engineer

Experience : 5-10 years

Location: Hyderabad/Chennai/ Bangalore

Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Discovery: Lead deep technical discovery of legacy environments, mapping dependencies, and identifying modernization opportunities.
- Strategy & Planning: Define workload migration waves, target-state architectures (High/Low-Level Designs), and cost optimization strategies.
- Migration Execution: Execute "lift and shift" workloads and implement refactored services utilizing IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
- Automation: Apply automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to streamline the migration of VMs, databases, and networks.
- Validation & Post-Migration: Establish performance monitoring, security baselines, and disaster recovery frameworks post-deployment.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), manage migration war rooms, and mentor junior engineers.





Must-Have Technical Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in at least one major cloud: AWS (e.g., AWS MGN), Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Migrate, AD), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Migration Methodologies: Proven track record in executing end-to-end workload migrations for enterprise applications.
- Automation & Scripting: Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Database & Storage: Experience handling homogeneous and heterogeneous database migrations (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL) and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
- Infrastructure: Solid understanding of on-premise to cloud network topology (VPC, VPN, DNS, MID Servers) and VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.

Qualifications & Frameworks
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud architecture.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information
