Job Summary

Vellanki Foods is looking for an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations at our food production unit. The ideal candidate will ensure the production facility, common areas, and surrounding premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage housekeeping staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of production areas, packaging sections, washrooms, offices, warehouses, and common areas.
- Implement and monitor Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare duty rosters, assign work, and monitor staff attendance and productivity.




- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene practices, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and housekeeping equipment.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance and Production teams to address housekeeping and sanitation requirements.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per company guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety, and statutory hygiene requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a food manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or production environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
