Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Back-End Developer for IBM Z, you will design, develop, unit test, and deliver offerings for IBM Z, such as z/OS, zTPF, zVM, and zVSE using agile practices and DevOps tooling. You will work in a collaborative setting to understand requirements, design, code, debug,



and test creative solutions to client problems and requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, and unit test offerings for IBM Z, utilizing programming languages such as HLASM/Assembler, Java, and C/C++ to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively to understand client requirements, design, code, debug, and test creative solutions to client problems and requirements, ensuring world-class quality and resiliency.
- Ensure Solution Quality: Ensure solutions meet world-class quality and resiliency standards, supporting strategic imperatives including artificial intelligence and cloud.
- Mainframe Storage and Database Management: Work with mainframe storage solutions and database technologies, including IMS, DB2, and z/OS security features such as RACF, SSL, SSO, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
