We are hiring for a full-time Psychiatrist

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Psychiatrist role based in the Pune Division. The Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health and neuro-psychological conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with addiction and mental health challenges. Daily responsibilities include prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, providing psychotherapy or counseling as appropriate, and coordinating care with psychologists, therapists, nurses, and social workers. The role involves active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, family consultations, and discharge planning to support patient reintegration into home and community settings. The Psychiatrist will also maintain accurate clinical documentation, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support education and awareness efforts within the center.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care,



with demonstrated experience in clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Medicine and Mental Health, including knowledge of psychopharmacology, comorbid medical conditions, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Candidates should possess focused skills in Adolescent Psychiatry and broader Psychiatry practice, enabling effective care for young people as well as adults with diverse psychological and addiction-related needs.
- Relevant medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB in Psychiatry, and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Experience in de-addiction, rehabilitation, or inpatient psychiatric settings is highly beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills, with a patient-centered and family-oriented approach.
