YouTube Video Editor (Remote – India)
About the Role

We are hiring a skilled and reliable **YouTube Video Editor** to manage end-to-end post-production for a growing YouTube channel focused on health, wellness, and lifestyle content. This is a **fully remote position based in India**. The ideal candidate is someone who has already built or edited successful YouTube channels and understands what makes video content perform well on the platform — pacing, retention, thumbnails, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, publish-ready YouTube videos (long-form and Shorts)
- Add background music, sound effects, transitions, captions/subtitles, and color correction
- Create engaging intros, outros, and on-screen text/graphics to improve retention
- Use AI avatar/voice tools (e.g., HeyGen) to produce presenter-style or narrated segments
- Design or coordinate eye-catching thumbnails aligned with channel branding
- Optimize videos for YouTube best practices (pacing, hooks, jump cuts, B-roll usage)
- Organize and manage project files, footage libraries,



and version control
- Collaborate on content calendars and turnaround timelines
- Stay current with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and editing styles in the health/wellness niche
Required Qualifications
- **Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience** editing YouTube content — either running a personal channel or working for a company/agency/creator
- Demonstrated portfolio of published YouTube videos (please share channel links/examples)
- Robust working knowledge of editing software, such as:
- **CapCut** (required)
- Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
- **HeyGen** or similar AI avatar/voice generation tools
- Basic motion graphics/animation tools (After Effects, Canva, or similar)
- Royalty-free music and sound libraries (Epidemic Sound, Artlist, YouTube Audio Library, etc.)
- Solid understanding of YouTube SEO basics (titles, tags, thumbnails, descriptions)
