Role Description
The Cashier role at Indriya Jewellery is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. The cashier is responsible for handling customer billing, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate cash and card transaction records. Daily tasks include operating the point-of-sale system, reconciling cash drawers, assisting customers with basic queries, and coordinating with sales staff to ensure smooth order processing. The cashier also helps maintain organized billing counters,



follows store policies for returns and exchanges, and supports basic administrative tasks such as preparing end-of-day reports. This role requires consistent attention to detail, a courteous approach to customers, and adherence to company standards for accuracy and security.

Qualifications
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail for handling cash, card payments, and daily reconciliation.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills (billing software, spreadsheets, email).
