About Upperi

Upperi is a premium Kerala snacks brand built on one clear proposition: Authentic snacks for Modern Customers — no palm oil, no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. We're targeting the premium snacks segment.

The company is fully operational: incorporated, FSSAI-licensed, GST-registered, with 5 SKUs, manufacturing partners signed. We launched in Kochi General and Modern Trade and Online Platforms.

We're now looking for a
Co-Founder
to join as a true partner in ownership and capital — not an employee, not a passive investor.

The Role

As Co-Founder, you'll hold equity and decision-making responsibility from day one. This isn't a job description in the traditional sense — it's an invitation to help build and scale a category-defining regional food brand from the ground up.

What you'll be part of building:
- Scaling distribution across Kerala (General Trade, Up-to-date Retail, Quick Commerce) and eventually pan-India
- Structuring the next rounds of funding rounds




- Building out the founding team — sales, operations, marketing
- Shaping brand strategy as Upperi expands into new SKUs, new geographies, and export markets (UAE, UK, USA, Singapore — IEC already obtained)

Your day-to-day involvement will depend on your strengths
— this is a partnership, and the working arrangement is something we shape together.

What We're Looking For
- Capital commitment
— investment aligned with our current seed ask (Minimum ₹25 Lakh), structured as founder equity rather than a pure financial investment
- Genuine belief in the Upperi story — clean-label, authentic regional food, not a "me-too" snack brand
- Experience in one or more of: FMCG/D2C, sales & distribution, brand building, supply chain, or finance/fundraising
- Willingness to be hands-on in the early, unglamorous stages of a startup
- Based in or willing to be actively present in Kerala, particularly Kochi
