Job Overview

The Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutics will be responsible for teaching, conducting research, and engaging in service activities in the area of pharmaceutics, a sub-discipline of pharmaceutical sciences. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of students while advancing the scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations, drug delivery systems, and related areas through high-quality research.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction
- Course Delivery: Teach undergraduate, graduate, and skilled courses in pharmaceutics, including but not limited to drug formulation, drug delivery systems, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology, and pharmacokinetics.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and update course materials, lectures, lab exercises, and assignments.



Ensure that the curriculum is in alignment with current industry standards and advances in the field.
- Student Mentoring: Provide academic advisement to students and supervise graduate research projects and theses in pharmaceutics.
- Assessment: Develop and administer exams, assignments, and projects, and grade student work in a timely manner. Provide constructive feedback to support student development.

Research
- Research Leadership: Establish and maintain an active research program in pharmaceutics, focusing on areas such as drug formulation, nanotechnology, controlled drug delivery, bioavailability, or other relevant topics in pharmaceutics.
- Funding Acquisition: Apply for external research funding through grants and collaborations. Support the department in achieving its research goals.
- Publications: Publish research findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals and present at academic conferences. Encourage
