Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Executives





* Clean and disinfect patient rooms, wards, corridors, washrooms, and common areas.

* Follow hospital infection-control and sanitation procedures.

* Segregate and dispose of biomedical and general waste correctly.

* Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment safely.

* Maintain proper grooming, hygiene, and professional behaviour.

* Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to the supervisor.

* Follow assigned cleaning schedules and checklists.

Housekeeping Supervisors

* Supervise and allocate duties to housekeeping staff.

* Conduct daily inspections of wards, rooms, washrooms, and common areas.

* Ensure compliance with hospital hygiene and infection-control standards.

* Train staff on cleaning methods, waste segregation, PPE, and patient interaction.

* Monitor attendance, grooming, productivity, and discipline.
