Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GST Intern to support our Taxation and Compliance team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to GST compliance, return preparation, reconciliations, and client coordination while working with experienced tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
- Support GST reconciliations using books of accounts and GST portal data.
- Assist in preparing working papers and maintaining GST-related documentation.
- Perform data entry, invoice verification, and reconciliation of purchase and sales registers.
- Coordinate with clients for GST-related documents and information.
- Conduct research on GST provisions, notifications, circulars, and amendments.
- Assist in responding to routine GST notices and preparing supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of client files.




- Prepare reports and MIS related to GST compliance.
- Support the team with day-to-day taxation and compliance activities.

Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of GST laws and indirect taxation.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of the GST Portal.
- Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or other accounting software is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
