Role Description
This is a Part time, on-site Safety Officer role located in chatra NKSTPP.The Safety Officer will oversee workplace safety practices, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations. Daily responsibilities include identifying hazards, assessing risks, updating safety documentation, and supporting the implementation of safety policies and procedures. The role involves conducting safety briefings and training sessions, investigating incidents and near-misses, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with site management.



The Safety Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain accurate safety records, and support continuous improvement of safety performance at the Bokaro site.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to apply regulatory requirements and best practices on-site.
- Strong skills in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis, documentation, and development of corrective actions.
- Experience in Security and risk assessment to help protect people, assets, and operations.
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for diverse teams.
- Relevant professional certification or diploma in safety, occupational health, or environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) preferred.
