Role Description

The Head of Legal Affairs will lead and oversee all legal matters for Esse India, ensuring that the organization operates in full compliance with relevant immigration, corporate, and regulatory laws. This full time,
on-site role is based in Abroad
and involves providing strategic legal guidance to senior leadership, drafting and reviewing contracts, and assessing legal risks related to client engagements and business operations. The Head of Legal Affairs will develop and implement policies for corporate governance, manage legal documentation, and coordinate with external legal partners when required. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering legal advice to internal teams, monitoring changes in immigration and related laws, protecting the organization’s intellectual property, and ensuring ethical and compliant practices across the consultancy.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law,



with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
- Proven experience providing Legal Advice in a corporate or professional services workplace.
- Expertise in Corporate Governance, including policy development and compliance oversight.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property and Patent Law, with the ability to safeguard organizational assets.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B/LL.M) from a recognized institution; bar membership is an advantage.
- Experience in immigration, regulatory, or consultancy sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract drafting skills, with attention to detail and risk management.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, collaborate across teams, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
