*Job Description for* Database Administration I:

Accountable For:
- Responsible for providing support for operational database services to the organization.
- Owns, tracks, and resolves database related events, issues, incidents and coordinate with respective application and infra owners.
- Supports 24x7 operations in rotating shifts, resolves incidents within SLAs
- Reviews service-related reports (database backups, maintenance, monitoring)



daily to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs
- Responding to investigate database related alerts and escalations and working with others within the organization to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems.

REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration and support in Oracle versions 12c through 19c.
- Knowledge needed on setting up, monitoring and troubleshooting Oracle Golden Gate.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot potential database related issues and constraints (CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, etc.).
- Knowledge on Oracle Performance Tuning.
- Documentation skills for processes and procedures (creating Knowledge Transfer documents, run-
