Mechanical Project Design Engineer is responsible for all technical document related to Project execution for fulfilment of contract requirements in regard to functionality, time, quality and cost.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Please list the key tasks, responsibilities & duties required to carry out the job.
- To Create Project drawings / documents as per instructions of Team leader based on inputs received and obtained.
1) Layout Drawing
2) GA drawing
3) Flow sheet
- Prepare Other technical document (Drive list, Utility requirement, equipment list etc.) for customer approval.
- Discuss & decide schedule start, completion and submission date & ensure the timely completion of task.
- Carryout self-review of the drawings / documents, with respect to completeness, correctness, aesthetics etc. before submission for quality review.
- Jointly review the drawings with Team leader/member and carry out changes as per the comments and understand the basis / reason for comments.
- Concurrence of Civil & structural Drawings as per Project / Client requirement
- Prepare Erection drawings as per Project / Client requirement.
- Prepare Technical data sheet of Bought-out items and approval on vendor drawings.
QUALIFICATION
Educational background Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical engineering discipline from an accredited college or University.
Experience (qualified, leadership, international) 5-7 years of experience in Project engineering
