Qualification
- Any Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred)
- Experience in hostel management or student welfare is an added advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Hostel Records).
Job Summary
The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, security, and welfare of hostel residents. The Warden ensures smooth day-to-day hostel operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and student-friendly setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesHostel Administration
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hostel.
- Allocate rooms and maintain occupancy records.
- Maintain student admission, attendance, and leave registers.
- Ensure hostel rules and regulations are followed.
Student Welfare
- Act as the first point of contact for students residing in the hostel.
- Address student grievances and resolve issues promptly.
- Counsel students on discipline, hygiene, and responsible behavior.
- Coordinate with parents whenever required.
Discipline & Security
- Maintain discipline within the hostel premises.
- Monitor entry and exit of students and visitors.
- Ensure adherence to hostel timings and curfew.
- Coordinate with security personnel for student safety.
Facilities Management
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of rooms, washrooms, dining halls, and common areas.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
- Monitor housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation services.
