Role Objective
The ATM Reconciliation Executive will manage the end-to-end resolution of transaction discrepancies. This includes analyzing data from the MSP (Middle Person), identifying cash shortages, and ensuring that customer claims are settled in strict accordance with banking standards and regulatory mandates.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction & Dispute Analysis: Review missed transaction data from the MSP and Hitachi systems to identify failed-but-debited scenarios.
Shortage & Claim Management: Investigate ATM physical cash shortages versus electronic journals; validate Customer Claims and process Recon Shortages to ensure ledger balances match physical cash.
Bank Query Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on queries raised by banks regarding transaction mismatches, providing evidence-backed resolutions.
MIS Preparation: Generate daily and monthly MIS reports reflecting dispute status, recovery of shortages, and overall transaction health.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for Banks and internal stakeholders to facilitate the refund of debited amounts to customers.
Process Workflow: Map transaction data accurately from the MSP stage through Hitachi to the final Bank settlement.
Compliance & Regulatory Standards
RBI Guidelines: Ensure all customer claim resolutions and refund timelines strictly adhere to RBI (Reserve Bank of India) guidelines regarding "Failed ATM Transactions" and "Turnaround Time (TAT) for Reimbursements."
Audit Readiness: Maintain clean documentation for internal and external audits to justify shortage adjustments and claim settlements.
