We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to lead our bulk material handling engineering team. You will drive the end-to-end design and development of equipment specialising in belt weigh feeders, belt feeders, and special conveyors, while mentoring a team to deliver high-quality, effective mechanical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical design engineers across simultaneous bulk material handling projects.
- Equipment Design:

Oversee the structural and mechanical design of customized material handling equipment, with specialized expertise in belt weigh feeders, belt feeders, screw feeders, vibrating feeders, and shuttle conveyors.
- Engineering Calculations:

Conduct and verify complex calculations for system sizing, drive selection, shaft/bearing life, and structural integrity.
- Design Standards:

Ensure all designs and 2D/3D deliverables comply with relevant Indian and international engineering standards (IS, CEMA).
- Approval of design:





Coordinate with consultant / end user for the approval of drawings and design calculations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with production, procurement, and site-erection teams to ensure manufacturability and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.



Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering. Master’s Degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience:

5-10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design of bulk material handling systems and conveyor equipment.
- Core Expertise:

Deep, hands-on knowledge in designing belt weigh feeders, screw feeders, vibrating feeders, shuttle conveyors, and associated transfer chutes.
- Software Proficiency:

Strong grasp of CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and specialized sizing software (e.g., Belt Analyst).
