Role Description
The Area Sales Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The person in this role is responsible for managing sales activities within the assigned territory, including generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and achieving revenue and growth targets.



Daily tasks include meeting with customers and prospects, understanding their scientific and business needs, presenting Thermo Fisher solutions, preparing proposals, and managing the sales pipeline. The Area Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams such as product management, marketing, customer service, and technical support to deliver high-quality solutions and service. The role also involves market analysis, forecasting, reporting, and adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development abilities, including territory management, account management, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to understand scientific products and solutions; experience in laboratory, life sciences, or healthcare sectors is highly beneficial.
