Job Overview

Baseline is looking for a Planning Engineer – Mechanical with experience in industrial projects. The role involves project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and coordination with engineering and execution teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within planned schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules, bar charts, and work programs.
- Develop and maintain project plans using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual site execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to achieve project milestones.
- Track project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective planning actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and project dashboards.
- Assist in manpower planning, material planning, and resource allocation.




- Perform project delay analysis and support recovery planning.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review mechanical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to support planning activities.
- Support project control, monitoring, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical project planning and scheduling.
- Experience in industrial projects will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project is mandatory.
- Robust proficiency in MS Excel for planning and reporting.
- Knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs;, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Good analytical, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
