Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Basketball Coach role located in Bengaluru. The Basketball Coach will plan and conduct daily training sessions, focusing on skill development, game strategies, and physical conditioning. Responsibilities include mentoring players, organizing practice drills, preparing game plans, and providing constructive feedback on performance. The coach will ensure a safe and inclusive training environment, coordinate with other staff on schedules and events, and oversee player discipline and adherence to team guidelines. The role also involves monitoring player progress, supporting participation in competitions,
and promoting positive team culture and sportsmanship.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Basketball Coaching and general Coaching skills.
- Candidates should possess solid Basketball knowledge and practical on-court experience.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for working with players and staff.
- Candidates should possess Training and player development skills, including planning structured practice sessions.
- Relevant coaching certifications or courses in sports coaching or physical education are beneficial.
- Prior experience coaching youth or adult basketball teams is preferred.
- Ability to motivate and mentor diverse players, manage group dynamics, and maintain a respectful environment.
- Solid organizational skills, reliability in maintaining schedules, and readiness to work evenings or weekends as required by games and practices.
