Plant HR Head

Location: Pitampur (Near Indore), Madhya Pradesh

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Plant HR Head to lead the entire HR, Industrial Relations (IR), Compliance, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement functions for our integrated steel manufacturing complex comprising Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Rolling Mill, Wire Annealing & Pickling, and Bright Bar Manufacturing operations.

The incumbent will partner with the Plant Head and Corporate HR to ensure industrial harmony, statutory compliance, manpower availability, and a high-performance work culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Plant HR operations across multiple manufacturing units.
- Drive Industrial Relations, Union Management, Wage Settlements, and Grievance Handling.
- Ensure compliance with all Labour Laws including Factories Act, CLRA, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Standing Orders, POSH, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead recruitment for blue-collar, staff, technical, and managerial positions.
- Manage contractor manpower planning and statutory compliance.




- Oversee HR Operations including onboarding, attendance, HRIS, employee records, performance management, and exit formalities.
- Develop employee engagement, welfare, learning & development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, audits, labour inspections, and statutory reporting.
- Prepare HR MIS, manpower budgets, and productivity reports.
- Partner with Plant Leadership to improve productivity, reduce attrition, and strengthen organizational culture.

Candidate Profile

Experience
- 1622 years of HR experience in manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years as Plant HR Head or equivalent leadership role.
- Hands-on experience managing HR for large manufacturing plants with 600+ employees (including contract manpower).
- Proven experience in Industrial Relations and Union Negotiations.

Education
- Full time Graduate.
- MBA/PGDM in HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations.
