Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial and derivative documentation (ISDA, CSA, CTA, GMRA, GMSLA, MSLA, Prime Brokerage, Clearing Documentation, etc.).

Provide legal support for global business operations across APAC, Japan, EMEA, and the Americas.

Advise stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and documentation risks.

Ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, CFTC/SEC, FINRA, and IBOR remediation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and international business teams.

Support legal documentation governance, template management, reporting, and regulatory projects.

Required Skills:

12 to 19 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiations.

Solid expertise in financial markets documentation and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to identify legal risks and provide commercially sound legal advice.

Experience working with global counterparties and cross-border legal matters.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: LLB / LLM (India/US/UK/EU jurisdiction)
