We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Counter Manager & Cashier to oversee our daily store operations, manage customer checkouts, and handle daily billing/accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong command of Tally ERP/Prime, and proven experience in retail cash management.
You will be the face of our store, ensuring smooth counter operations, accurate financial logging, and a outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Counter & Store Management: Supervise the billing counter, ensure the checkout area is clean and organized, and manage customer queues efficiently during peak hours.
- Billing & Cashiering: Handle the Point of Sale (POS) system, process cash, card, and UPI payments accurately, and issue receipts/invoices.
- Tally & Accounting: Maintain daily logs of sales, purchases,
and expenses directly into Tally software. Reconcile daily cash/digital payments with Tally reports at the end of the day.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, resolve billing discrepancies professionally, and answer basic queries about product availability or pricing.
- Inventory Tracking: Coordinate with the floor staff to track fast-moving stock and update inventory records in the system.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or Graduate (B.Com or equivalent preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience as a Retail Cashier, Billing Executive, or Counter In-charge.
