Strategic Objectives & Key Result Areas
Supply Chain Management
- Ensure smooth flow of materials and components for sheet metal production.
- Manage vendor development, sourcing, and procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
System & Compliance
- Ensure ontime calibration of inspection instruments as per plan.
- Support validation of panel checkers and gauges.
- Drive compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards in SCM processes.
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute material requirement planning (MRP).
- Negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Track and optimize supply chain KPIs (lead time, cost, inventory turnover).
- Support new product development (NPD) by aligning supply chain readiness.
- Implement lean practices and costsaving initiatives in SCM.
Skills Required
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal industry supply chain.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar).
- Good analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with quality systems (IATF, ISO).
