Job Summary

The Ticketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ticketing function, ensuring efficient visitor admissions, accurate revenue collection, smooth functioning of ticketing systems, and delivering a seamless visitor experience. The role includes managing the ticketing team, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all ticketing counters and admission points.
- Supervise, train, and schedule the ticketing team to ensure effective operations.
- Ensure accurate issuance of tickets, receipts, and related documentation.
- Monitor cash collections, digital payments, reconciliations, and daily revenue reports.
- Oversee the ticketing software/POS system and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures for ticketing counters.
- Coordinate with Finance for cash deposits, reconciliations,



and audit requirements.
- Maintain records of visitor footfall, ticket sales, memberships, and special event admissions.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Events teams for promotions, group bookings, and special ticketing requirements.
- Handle visitor queries, complaints, refunds, exchanges, and exceptional cases in accordance with organizational policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports on ticket sales, visitor trends, and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve ticketing processes and enhance the visitor experience.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in ticketing, visitor services, hospitality, tourism, museums, attractions, or entertainment venues.
- Prior experience managing a team is preferred.
