Role Description
The Assistant Manager Purchase will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms for food, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies. This full-time, on-site role in Trivandrum involves maintaining approved vendor lists, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring inventory levels meet operational requirements.



The role includes coordinating closely with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure timely availability of materials while adhering to budget and compliance standards. The Assistant Manager Purchase will monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, maintain accurate purchase records, and contribute to process improvements and cost-optimization initiatives.

Qualifications
- Solid purchasing and procurement knowledge, including vendor management, negotiation, and purchase order processing.
- Experience with inventory control, materials management, and coordination with stores or warehouse teams.
- Ability to analyze costs, compare quotations, and support budget adherence and cost-saving initiatives.
