2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality & Global Compliance In charge will be responsible for end-to-end quality control and implementing international food safety, regulatory, and social compliance standards. This role ensures our organic food products meet both Indian domestic laws (FSSAI) and global export requirements (US, EU, and global markets).

1. International Regulatory Compliance & Exports
- US FDA & FSMA: Act as or support the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). Ensure complete compliance with the US FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), including foreign supplier verification and hazard analysis.
- Codex Alimentarius: Ensure all processing, packaging, hygiene, and labeling standards strictly map to Codex guidelines for international trade.
- FSSAI India: Manage all domestic statutory compliance, licensing, product approvals, and periodic returns.

Global Food Safety Management Systems (GFSI)
- BRCGS Implementation: Lead the plant through annual BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards) audits. Maintain the food safety manual, internal audit schedules, traceability systems, and root-cause analyses.

1. Social & Ethical Standards Compliance
- Maintain the facility to pass international ethical and social audits (e.g., SMETA / Sdex, BSCI, or Fair Trade).
- Ensure documentation and factory floor practices align with labor laws, health & safety standards, and ethical trading practices.

1. Organic Integrity & Audits
- Maintain mandatory segregation protocols to prevent any cross-contamination between organic and conventional lines.
- Lead facing teams during NPOP, NOP (USDA Organic), and global certification audits.
